Who we are
rm-dms.co.uk is the website of RM-DMS · Design and Management Studios, [legal name, registered address and company number of the business that runs this website]. We are the controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at sales@rm-dms.co.uk or on +44 333 2420-719.
When you visit this website
- Server logs. For each page or file you request, our server records your IP address, the time, the address requested, the result, your browser type and the page you came from. We use them to keep the site secure and working (our legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) and delete them after 30 days. The server is in a data centre in Nuremberg, Germany (netcup GmbH).
- No cookies, analytics or tracking, and no forms: the site runs no scripts.
- Fonts. The site's typeface comes from our own server: no page loads anything from another company.
- Facebook. Our pages link to our Facebook page but load nothing from Facebook. If you follow the link, Facebook's privacy policy applies.
When you email or call us
We use your name, contact details and what you tell us about your project to answer you, prepare a quote and, if you instruct us, to carry out the work: steps you ask for before a contract, and the contract itself (Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Our email and telephone providers carry the messages for us. We keep enquiries that don't lead to work for up to 2 years. For projects we carry out, we keep the records for as long as the law requires (for example for tax) and as long as claims about the work could arise.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, and to correct or delete it, restrict its use, or move it to someone else, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Write to sales@rm-dms.co.uk; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113) or to the data protection authority where you live.
